F-600
The Ford F-600 is a Class 6 medium-duty chassis cab in the Ford Super Duty lineup. It bridges the gap between the F-550 and the larger F-650, offering additional payload for heavy conversions such as large party buses.
Overview[edit]
Reintroduced for the 2020 model year, the F-600 has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of roughly 22,000 pounds. It shares much of its cab and powertrain with the F-550 but with a heavier-duty frame and suspension to handle greater loads.
Powertrain[edit]
Like the F-550, the F-600 is offered with a 7.3-liter gasoline V8 and a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8.
Use in party buses[edit]
The F-600's higher payload makes it suitable for larger party buses and limo buses that carry more passengers and equipment than a standard F-550 build.
